Terms of use
Last updated: 27 October 2026
About these terms
These terms are the agreement between you and Daniel Iwugo, who sells Senbonzakura. They cover the app and the account service, and they include our Acceptable Use Policy. Our privacy policy explains what data we hold.
By creating an account or buying a plan, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
Who sells the product
Senbonzakura is sold by Daniel Iwugo, a sole trader in the United Kingdom, trading as Senbonzakura. Business address: Orchard Close, Corfe Mullen, BH21 3TW.
Senbonzakura is a desktop app for Windows and Linux. It opens open AI language models (the systems behind chatbots) on your own computer. It shows where a model refuses and how often, and on paid plans it can edit a model and measure what the edit changed.
Paddle sells your plan
Paddle is the merchant of record. In plain words, Paddle is the reseller. Paddle takes your payment, handles the tax and sends your invoices. Your purchase is made with Paddle, and Paddle's own buyer terms apply to it. You can read them at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms.
We run the app and the account service. For a payment, invoice or tax question, contact Paddle or us, and we'll help you find the right person.
Plans
- Developer: a free account for personal use.
- Basic: a paid plan for personal use only.
Plans are priced in dollars, pounds or euros, the same number in each, monthly or yearly. Paddle works out the tax for your country. The prices are on the home page.
Your account
- One account is one person. Don't share your login.
- You can sign in on one device at a time. Signing in on another device signs the first one out.
- Give us a working email address, and keep your email account safe, because it's how you sign in.
- Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got into your account.
- You must be 18 or over to use the service.
What you may do
Use the app within your plan, and follow the Acceptable Use Policy. In short, don't use the software to make content that is illegal, to harm people, or to break the law.
Models you use
You are responsible for the models you edit and how you use them. You must follow each model's own licence.
Models and prompts are processed on your computer. Model files and what the model says never go to our servers.
Who owns what you make
We claim no rights in the output you generate, or in the models you edit with the app. The licence of the base model you start from still applies to it.
Paying, renewing and cancelling
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. We'll email you before a renewal that follows a free period, and before any price change takes effect.
- You can cancel at any time. Basic stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Refunds are explained on our refunds page.
Ending your account
- You can delete your account in the app. You can't delete your account while a paid subscription is active, so cancel it first.
- We can suspend or end an account at once if someone seriously breaks these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. For other breaches, we'll give you written notice and a chance to put things right before we act.
The software and our liability
The app is provided as it is, so far as the law allows. Nothing in these terms removes a right you have under the law that cannot be excluded.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any consumer right that the law doesn't let us limit. Apart from that, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top, and the new version applies from that date. If a change materially affects your rights, we'll give you reasonable notice before it takes effect, by email or a notice in the app. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the updated terms.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in another country, you keep any consumer protections that country gives you.
